CAST SIZE

BABIES has a cast of 14. ALL characters have one solo song plus chorus and dancing.

Some productions have augmented these numbers with more 'babies' who act as singing/dancing chorus.

ORCHESTRA SIZE

The orchestrations for BABIES have been written for 20+ (depending on the number of strings used) pieces. This may be pared down to a minimum of 1 (keyboard), small combo (ie., piano, bass, drums, guitar) or any number of instruments in between. The orchestrations are extremely adaptable.

NOTE: Complete orchestra tracks are available for use in your production. These are the tracks from the original cast album (without vocals). You can hear some of the songs from the album on the "Musical Selections" page.

ROYALTIES

Royalties are based on number of performances, number of theatre seats, status of producer/producing organization (ie., professional, amateur/community, school) and ticket pricing.
